You cannot register or post comments here, so we hold no account data.

Forms

Newsletter signup and contact delivery are not available at present. An unavailable form does not send or save anything you type. This publication does not keep a database of messages or signups.

If these services become available, a form will ask for your permission before sending your details. A contact service would receive your email, message and a record of your permission; a newsletter service would receive your email and that permission record. The service may keep delivery or subscription records. Confirmation and unsubscribe instructions would come from the newsletter service. We will update this policy with the service details before collecting information. Please do not send sensitive personal information.

To limit repeated form requests, we temporarily count attempts using a scrambled identifier based on the network address. These records are held in memory for up to fifteen minutes, not saved as a list of raw addresses. We do not put message text, signup details or delivery-service replies in application logs.

Server logs

Like any website, the hosting provider may log technical request data such as IP address, requested page and browser type for security and operations.

Analytics and cookies

Optional visitor measurement is not active at present. If enabled in the future, Google Analytics and/or Pinterest measurement will load only after you choose Allow. You can decline and still use the whole site. Those services may use cookies and collect information about pages visited, your device and your network under their own policies. If shopping links are introduced, measurement may record which item was clicked, the guide and link location, and the retailer destination. It does not include emails or message text.

Your search is handled in your browser and is not sent to a search service. Submitting a search puts the words in the page address, which may appear in browser history and hosting logs. Optional measurement does not run on search pages or page addresses containing query details.

If measurement becomes available, your Allow or Decline choice will be saved in this browser. Use Privacy choices to change it. Changing from Allow to Decline reloads the page to stop measurement, but does not erase information already sent or cookies set by another service. You can clear this site's browser data to remove the saved choice, and use the services' own controls for their records. Printable ticks and room names last only while the page is open and are not saved.

Images

Images are generated by AI and published publicly. They are not photographs of real people or homes.

Third-party links

If an article links to a retailer, that site has its own privacy practices.

Opening a Pinterest sharing link sends the public article address, image address, and sharing description to Pinterest. It is separate from the optional tracking tag. Images and fonts are served by this publication; following an external link makes a request to that provider.

Requests and changes

If forms become available, the contact page will explain how to ask about information sent through them. We cannot retrieve search or printable activity that stays only in your browser. This policy will be reviewed when services or information collection change. Last updated October 26, 2026.
